Friends and Customers,
We have always considered ourselves to be active participants in the community that we call home. We care deeply about the health of everyone in that community and we want to do everything we can to help ensure that we are not risking anyone’s safety over the coming weeks. That is why we have made the decision to close our store until such time as the Governor decides that it is safe for people to congregate in public spaces again. While there has not yet been an issue ordering businesses like ours to shut down, we foresee that having people patronizing our storefront location, when it is suggested that we not be in groups larger than 10 people, could be putting both our customers and our staff at risk. We are not taking the dangers of COVID-19 lightly and we will be paying close attention to the situation over the coming weeks to help navigate these murky waters as best we can.
With that being said, we are not closing down our business entirely. We still have e-commerce functionality on our website where you can purchase our candles and bath and body products. Additionally, we are now selling home DIY kits so that you can continue to enjoy creating your own candles and bath products even though you can’t come to see us. We have several different kit options available for adults and kids and you can still select your own scent options. These kits make great activities to pass the time in your home, especially if you have little ones home from school who need to be entertained. We can ship products to your home as always but we are also offering curbside pickup on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-5 pm. You can call us at 513-316-2307 to make arrangements.
We know that this is a difficult time for everyone and we want to emphasize that now is the time when local, small businesses need your support more than ever. Big businesses and chain stores have more resources to survive this crisis than the local stores and restaurants that have to close their doors for an unknown amount of time. As we said, we are invested in our community and we know that we can all be united in making sure that those who need support receive it.
We will stay vigilant during the coming weeks to know how to best proceed as more information is available. We will be sure to keep you informed of any decisions we make that might affect our customers in any way.
